Murray W. Nabors, Ph.D. is a Professor of Biology with a research interest in genetic engineering. He is Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Missouri Western State University. He grew up in Oklahoma and is a graduate of Yale University and Michigan State. Now, he lives with his family on a small farm near Saint Joseph, Missouri with numerous dairy goats, cows, horses, dogs, cats, and other animals.

His publishing credits include The Magical Dozen, a cutting edge self-help book; a book of romantic western Christmas stories; three novels about the Oregon Trail; and his latest book, The Adventures of Terrence the Tabby Cat—Terrence and the Terrible Jack Russells.
